Park on the street past this sign.
Hike out until you get to the park ranger’s dwelling and the old barn.
Go down into the creek.

This is an enchanted setting. All of these sites disappear into the duff if no one pays attention to them.

This monument is a little further out. What a story! Still relevant to today.
However, no word about the Native American presence in the area.

Note the many native Californian sites all over Walpert Ridge. There was a lot going on up there before Honcharenko’s arrival.
